Yes. Warcraft lore is great, but tbh the MMORPG is… shit. So I recommend you buy WC3 and play through that, it’s a RTS. If you’re looking for a book, try “Rise of the Horde” to start off with.

It's not. It's just different. WC3 was telling a story, WoW is not really telling a story. In WC3, the whole Warcraft lore was a story that was being told, that changed with WoW, now the Warcraft lore is not really a story but rather a universe that people get to explore. I prefer the latter and so the WoW version of Warcraft is much more ... Warcraft lore is very vast and as a result of that, very disconnected in it's medium. The vast majority of important events happen in books and RTS. While pretty big, the MMO (in my personal opinon) brings the least lore out of all mediums. If you are completely new to the lore, I'd suggest playing Warcraft RTS first and foremost.

After the fall of Shattrath, a portion of the Draenei refugee population in Zangarmarsh fell ill after contact with a mysterious "red mist". This illness culminated in a total physical and somewhat mental shift, and -most disturbingly for the Draenei- a complete disconnection from the Light.

You're right, but a Necromancer focuses more exclusively on necromancy, while Warlocks utilize any magic that would give them power. Take Ner'zuhl for example, who can be seen as both a warlock and necromancer. While ingame Warlocks focus more on fel and demons ingame, necromancy could easily be a warlock specialization.A website’s welcome message should describe what the website offers its visitors. A warrior can kill every single class or individual you can dream up in the Warcraft Universe. Nobody is immune to a powerful enough man with a blade. Yes, when attacking an unaware opponent. When the opposing spellcaster is aware of the warrior and their threat, there is fuckall a warrior can do to counter that.

Sure, at the beginning WoD was pushing Grommash as the BBEG, and Gul'dan was more "in the shadow" for the first part of the expansion, but from the moment he defeated Grommash and took the Iron Horde, he surely had "main villain" vibes. I disagree on Sylvanas. She was the third Warbringer. She started the Fourth War.

I liked to imagine some Orc Mages were penitent Warlocks, but younger ones were likely just interested in magic and had plenty of opportunities to study Arcane in the modern Horde. A Tauren Mage might be a lore keeper of sorts, already studious and interested in other cultures before delving into the Arcane. 34.

A World of Warcraft Conspiracy Theory. In classic WoW, there are quests in Tirisfal Glades and the Plaguelands where the Forsaken are working on a new plague. The latest tweets from @WarcraftLoreNew Warlock Races lore speculation. In patch 10.1.5 there will be 9 more races that can become Warlocks in line with Blizz intent to make more race-class combos available. The reason why Warlocks were picked were probably because they are the easiest to implement without any art assets necessary, through I'm glad they are adding a new Imp skin. I do believe, however, that it is Canon that the orcs "won" the first war (see Warcraft: the movie). The humans were unprepared for the orcish invasion, and their losses actually spawned what is now "The Alliance." In lore the orcs were larger, stronger, and because of the blood corruption they were far more bloodthirsty than the humans. The priest is the master of healing and preservation, restoring his wounded allies, shielding them in battle and even resurrecting his fallen comrades from death.
