Only took us about an hour and a half...When I first got the bike aside from the obvious cosmetic issues the bike started first kick and rode less than great. I tore into the Mikuni TMX Carb that comes on the 2002 CR250 and got all sorts of jet sizes for the thing. First I put jetting back to stock to the following; Air Screw: 1-1/2. The carbs have been used by a few very high level off road guys in events such as the ISDE as far back as 20 years ago. They are $300 and available and very easy to tune and don't need fiddling.
